Got mine a few days ago. Swapped the strap. Very happy with it. Not sure it has settled in yet but running +8 seconds a day.

BBJonesIn the Massdrop promo pictures, the face on the black-leather version looks silver, but in your pic it looks white. Is it just the angle? Is the face more silver or more white in-person? Thanks!
StrangeloveEsqDefinitely silver but a bright silver that can look white at angles.
After owning this watch for a while I am still enjoying it. I experimented with many straps from leather NATO, to fabric bar is (silver striped bond pairs nicely) and couple shell straps.
It still looks good and rides the line between sporty and a daily driver for business casual.
I wish it was a tad smaller and thinner and lug to lug a bit shorter for my size wrist. But I like smaller watches in general.
J_b2Not looking at it at the moment as I am travelling. I believe it does but dead flat crystal with a decently reflective face means there is some glare in bright sun.
BBJonesTypical for all Miyota movements, including the 9100, it winds in one direction only, so when it starts spinning the rotor in the opposite direction, there's no friction so it just free spins and you can hear the bearing noise as it spins for-seemingly-ever. some watch cases do a better job of absorbing the noise than others. It is a fantastic movement though other than that and is very accurate, reliable and does not require frequent expensive servicing.. This is a lot of watch for the money in my book!
WeekendChefWhat possible reason would it need to be? Have you ever had a watch with a pr indicator? If you are wearing an automatic, it will keep running, and soon will be pegged at 40. If you aren't wearing it, it will go to 0 just as fast weith an indicator as it will without one. If it had 120 hours reserve it might be useful, but the indicator belongs on the back of the movement, not out front.
