For what its worth, I bought the 50 L capacity No. 4 duffel bag in March 2016 and I've used it many many times and its performed flawlessly. I have no doubt that this is an equally well made bag. The construction on Fjallraven bags is just phenomenal. The zippers are heavy duty and don't slack, the buttons and fasteners are sturdy and well sewn and the straps on my bag are a very heavy nice leather. You will not regret this purchase, believe me.

Thanks again for joining this drop! Shortly after the drop ended, we submitted the group's order with the vendor for the Fjallraven Duffel No. 4. The vendor informed us that the bulk order was picked up and is on its way to our warehouse. Based on the tracking provided, the order is scheduled to arrive 3/9.

After lots of back and forth, I changed my order from the 50L black to the 30L black, mostly for carry on sizing issues, as others have mentioned as well. :)

yaoninjaIt was confirmed about a year ago that it does NOT include a shoulder strap. Could be different for this drop but I doubt so.
The duffel's leather handles are designed to sling over the shoulder or to wear like a backpack.
Personally, I feel shoulder straps are a little irritating when you're not using them. I like the idea of a long handle which can be used to sling or hold.

JimHarrisDo you know if they sell a shoulder strap attachment? Not a deal breaker, but just curious.
I couldn't find something like it on the website, but it seems silly not to have it at least as an additional accessory if they include loops on either end.
I might be in the minority, but I do like having a shoulder strap as an option. When not in use, I usually detach them and put them in the bag.
