Scroll I am ~5'10" 16X and purchased a small and it fits well. I would suggest going with that size if you are similar size to Sjur. If in doubt, have someone measure you since you are not able to return or anything. Also, for people looking to join the drop; I have twice purchased Fjallraven products(backpack and this jacket) through MD and both have been delayed quite a bit due to the vendor. See above for proof of that. Something to be aware of if ordering.
