I missed this drop last time so I went out and bought one elsewhere. The Kanken Classic is seriously the best backpack I've ever had. I've taken it on my bike, in a canoe, on the beach, camping, in severe thunderstorms, you name it. It's held up great. The inside has always stayed bone dry. The Classic is just barely big enough to be a weekend bag. It'll fit a 15 inch laptop snugly.
The included seat pad is a godsend. It looks flimsy but it's insanely helpful when you don't want to bust your knees open when you want to sit down somewhere.
This bag may cost twice as much as a backpack at your nearest store, but this thing is easily worth it. It looks great, weighs practically nothing, stays dry, and is extremely comfortable. I'm pretty sure this is the last backpack I'll ever need.
