Is this the beta unit that people have seen on FC with the strong glue smell? or is this the new model with the stainless steel tube, that has not finished production yet?

BuzzApparently this will be the finished production model with the smell problem fixed and will ship out mid December. I emailed a couple of those V8 preorder sellers on ebay who said that they are already shipping their models out. I don't know if theirs are the finished production models though. They will contact FM for me and get some more info regarding the problem.

BuzzThose weren't really beta units, since a beta is supposed to be a working product. They shouldn't have sent those out at all, since they had glue in 'em, and the MD units should absolutely be production units.

Sojex53To be honest that was just a conclusion that I came to myself and I shouldn't have written it here when it's unconfirmed. Here was my thought process - Since the shipping date for these units is meant to be mid December (this was confirmed from two different people on the FC forum [but still not officially confirmed]) I concluded that these would be the finished production models. If they already had 'beta' units in stock then they would probably just ship them out as soon as possible. A lot of this info is just hearsay because we still don't have any news from the massdrop supplier. I'm really tempted to join the drop but I'm personally going to hold off until we have more information.

ScidexA lot of stuff about this listing does not make sense. I currently stock this item and a lot of flowermate items. The price they are selling it at is the price it cost wholesale. The manufacture of this item I deal with personally. I do have this item in stock but not at this price. We have the Brand new finished model. I am on Ebay and the only one with stock.

Henry.VYeah, you lost a pretty substantial amount of buyers simply from neglecting to check buyer comments and concerns. With only ~50 drops at a time, how is it possible that someone doesn't check comments at least every few hours?! Baffles me.
