Can this be used as an active speaker volume control? I have a set of Neumann active speakers but their volume controls are on the back. Currently they're fed by the line out of my Woo Audio Fireflies. As a result I have to use the volume control in windows to turn it down whenever I use speakers, and back up whenever I use the Fireflies headphone AMP. I was thinking of plugging this in between the Firelies line-out and the active speaker inputs. Will there be any loss of quality by doing this?
