I currently own 13 of these tops and the Titanium was my very first one. It had me hooked. getting to play/interact with the different types of metals is very rewarding and Titanium is a great first top as it's light and strong enough for a newbie to learn on but it's still got a decent weight.
These tops do not sport the longest spin times but are ascetically very pleasing. and very well made. The process of learning to improve your spin is very rewarding and with practice and a base you can expect to get 3-5 minutes of spin off of the Titanium top however it's still far more fun then spinning my Vorso.
I do have a question if someone from Foreverspin is here:
Is the base offered here the same one being sold on your site? the photos on the drop page seem like it's an all metal model vs the glass currently being sold. I'd love a chance to buy anything "limited edition" - I've seen talk of "mystery" tops being sold in the past... also, why no Zinc!?

linkywinsHey Daniel,
Yes, the spinning base in this drop is the same as on our website - I've attached a picture below for confirmation. Massdrop is working to fix the photography to show the correct details.
Please feel free to reach out if anyone has any questions. Thanks, all!

I have a couple of Foreverspin tops (Copper and Bronze). After my experince with Vorsos, AJTops.com tops, the Lambda, and others, these Foreverspin tops are a bit of a disappointment. They appear to be designed for looks and not performance.
The center of gravity is too high. And on both versions I have, the tips are not machined smooth but have imperfections right out of the box that cause a noticeable vibration when spun thus affecting spin time. Also, unlike most other precision tops, the spindles are too thin. As a result, it's very difficult to get good spins without causing the top to fly in all directions. There is hardly anything to get a hold of.

Did anyone order the base, too? It arrived nice and shiny, but after each spin you see a bunch of micro-dents. After half an hour of practicing spinning, there are so many dents that it affects how the top spins. Maybe 50.
Am I doing something wrong? Does the base need to get broken in like this? Or is mine defective? Or am I not spinning it right? Maybe you're not supposed to spin on it until you've gotten proficient?

No, you can clearly see a "path" of dents as it moves about. Maybe I'm spinning it too hard or something? But you'd think a product like this would be designed to withstand a much larger than intended force... Engineering safety factor anyone? A tempered glass top would be a better idea I think than the same metal as the spinner...

PinzYou know, I wonder if the problem isn't with the top itself. Examine the spinning point/tip of the top. Is it gouged or uneven in some way? Perhaps it has a chip out of the tip and a tiny sharp edge is affecting the glass surface.
