SO exactly how do these tops spin forever? I'm intrigued at the idea but i'm assuming thats its just a clever buzzword to use. Does it have some sort of battery or something that helps keep it going?
Or am I completely off my rocker?
directassaultThey don't spin forever. It's just the name.
How long they spin is really dependant on a few different factors(such as surface they are spun on, and how fast they are spun) . I believe they can realistically get 1-3 minutes
Lemeliskdarn so its just marketing :\ I was thinking that it was using something along the lines of twirling sticks and just used a battery and magnets to keep things going.

I KNOW BRAZIL'S BEEN A TROUBLESOME SHIPPING COUNTRY( I'VE NEVER HAD ANY ISSUES, I'M USED TO BUY FROM FOREIGN SITES EBAY-LIKE, BUT CAN'T TALK FOR OTHERS ), BUT...I WONDER...PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE MAKE IT SHIPPING TO BRAZIL ! :)
This is my problem with Massdrop. One week there's a drop for item X and the next a drop for item Y that are OBVIOUSLY related. For example Maratac pilot mid one week and Maratac pilot large the next. Other example titanium top last week metal museum (including titanium top) this week. Can't we know when the first one drops if there's something else dropping soon? Even if we don't know when it is?
dansauceUsually the drops are sequential because the success of one leads to the inclusion of the other. A lot of vendors will say <Shifty Eyes> "I'm not sure about you guys, but I'll let you run this product and we'll see how it goes". And then after the first product is successful: "Wow, your community is really supportive and engaging, yes, you can run our other products!".
Also a lot of our drops are depending on vendor supplies. So what they have currently in stock dictates when drops are run, more so than some master plan to maximize wallet pain on you guys.
