Don't buy this, it's absolute crap. I work in the spirits industry and also worked as a beverage director for a large cocktail bar chain in chicago--these are less than consumer grade tools.

rpariharSure, in general the industry standard is stuff from Cocktail Kingdom, but what they offer is by no means proprietary. As far as jiggers: look for Japanese style, 2oz/1oz, with internal lines that mark 1.5oz on the 2 oz. side, and .5 and .75oz on the 1oz. side. These measurements cover pretty much every US cocktail recipe. For a bar spoon, the smaller the threading, the better. The most difficult bar skill to learn is proper stirring, and the typical wide-threaded bar spoons that are ubiquitous in suburban "martini bars" and restaurant supply stores only make this more difficult. As it stands right now, I have yet to see and all-inclusive kit that is stocked with good stuff. I'd work with a company like Cocktail Kingdom or UmamiMart and try to build a custom massdrop kit that will be up to the community's specs. Also willing to help out fyi. Reach out!

Anyone know where this was made / if the pieces are high quality? I know I for one have bought shakers, etc that have rusted in under 3 years

No Glasses and no Cocktail Shaker? There are ways to work around that: I once visited a bar where the bartender would allow a patron to lie down on the bar and open their mouth--he'd then just pour everything directly into said mouth and tap the patron on the forehead when the drink was done. It was fun to watch and cut down on glasses to wash later.
