I love how there are no pics of the inside nor how it opens/functions. That wouldn't be relevant at all to the purchaser.

For the same reason Amazon has turned into the new Chinese Ebay, greed. The principles and mission the companies started with have fallen victim to the money monster. Massdrop isn't as bad as Amazon, for sure, but the trend isn't good.
If Massdrop cared about the integrity of their relationship with their customers they'd: 1. Always state the country of origin up front in the product information. 2. Show pictures of the product in use and with scale. 3. Avoid selling Chinese (or other) knockoffs and validate the quality of the products they sell before offering them.
I think Massdrop tries to some extent but certainly there's a trend of bringing in products just for the money and not because the product is something "Massdrop" customers would expect from MD.

Reminds me of our old green Coleman cooler that weighed a metric ton when filled. This might do the trick if you wanted to extend your mid-century aesthetic to summer picnics. Afterwards you can throw your trash in the lake just like the old days too!

@Nomad, You can find images of the top of the opened cooler on the brand's site and other sites. It's lined with white plastic.
You can also find what appears to be the identical cooler under the brand names of Amerihome and SPORTSBEATS for under $45 on Amazon, and buying from Amazon means you can return it if you don't like it.
