hey guys, I'm very new to this audiophile subject. I'm simply just tired from picking up headphones that feed garbage to my ears. I've tried so many brands like bose, beats, sony...etc and I usually go for the highest model, but still have not found that wow moment in a single headphone. Until I found this amazing site and community! :)
I want something for pure music use. I'm an international, and I mainly listen to arabic music and hip-hop. I saw the akg 7xx and the price is really cheap, but not sure if its the ultimate thing. And now I'm here with the Foster TH-X00, do u think it's the ultimate pair that will give the "wow moment" for my needs?
Also, I just got the Sennheiser GSX 1000 Gaming Audio Amplifier, so I really can't wait to decide on new pair.
please help! thanks

iSalehArtI believe it is. These headphones are amazing for pretty much any music genre. For this price it's a "steal" for such good headphones. I'm only a little disappointed by the stock pads on them because they aren't as comfy as I had hoped so I had to replace them. These are fun and enjoyable headphones for any kind of music you throw at them.

One thing to keep in mind since you said you are new to this, you need to use some higher quality audio files to really make these headphones shine, such as 320kbps mp3 or even FLAC formats. Lower quality formats will not make you go "wow", if you know what I mean. If your previous experience was Bose, Beats and Sony then these will amaze you, I am certain of that.
I hope that helped a bit, have a great day :)

CamperIVDid you replace the stock pads with something similar to TH-X900 pads? If yes, I wonder where did you buy them from?

iSalehArtI'm still experimenting with the pads, still trying to find the best of both worlds (comfort and sound)... currently I find the Brainwavz HM5 Sheepskin most comfy and they don't impact sound all that much, but they still do slightly. I would love to try the TH-900 pads but they don't seem to be available in Europe.
Ordered from Amazon.co.uk Here's how they look on mine X00s

CamperIVCan confirm these pad are WAY better than the stock ones. The stock ones bugged the crap out of my ears and I have little ears. These are way better.

CamperIVThere're lighter than I expected and feel very comfortable. Stock pads are not the best and softest out there, so I'm experimenting with this. I like how close to my ears the drivers are, so I'll dafentily be looking for pads with similar thickness to the stock one's, much softer foam maybe.
I was comparing these in comfort with the bose qc35, and xoo'so delivered way more comfort than I expected.

CamperIVWhere do you actually live in Europe? I'm so fucking close to buying those Headphones but I'm too scared about the taxes I have to pay since I live in Germany. Can anybody here tell me what I have to expect to pay in fees or taxes or smth like that? I actually really want those and that sucks so hard. I would really appreciate it.

VenoXj1Czech Republic here, hello neighbour.
Basically once the headphones arrive to Germany, you'll recieve some letter from your local post office informing you that your item has been held at customs. They'll explain everything to you what to do next so don't worry.
The amount you have to pay is basically Tax + customs, which in Czech is 21% + 3%, so total 24% of the product's price. So in the end I ended up paying like 90 Euro for the whole process :( Should be a similar thing in Germany. But fuck it, totally worth it. Amazing set of headphones.

CamperIVWell yeah I just wanted to know how much I have to predict there. They are fucking amazing I've read that already and that makes me even more sad haha. Did you have to pick them up? Like driving to the airport and pick them up. I'm scared that it gets stuck at the airport and I have to pick it up and pay a good amount for that and I eventually have to drive a real good distance to get them. I don't know how much our import rules differs from outside the EU and I actually are kinda scared to pay a damn good fee for that. I currently own the T50RPMK3 and I really have no clue what do right now haha.

VenoXj1Oh no, I had two options. - Either wait a few more days for the mailman to deliver them to your door and pay the taxes to him. - Or go to the central post office in my city and do it there and get them the same day.
Of course I chose the 2nd option because I was sooo impatient :D But I dont think they'll be stuck at an airport. Anyway, best way to find out is to order them and try I guess ;) It won't get lost for sure, DHL is slow but at least they deliver every time properly.

CamperIVI'm not scared of it being lost but the price is kinda high when I think about the 20% or so of fees. Well I might consider buying them but only when I'm sure what to pay. Thanks for the quick answer I really appreciate it.
