Was wondering if there are versions with detachable and shorter cables, or at least someway one can achieve that. Thanks

MumbhaaiYou can mod these headphones so that you can have detachable cables or pay someone to do it for you. There are plenty of services online that offers this and also many guides and tutorial if you want to do it yourself. Here's one service I found online through etsy: https://www.etsy.com/listing/281233736/fostex-dual-25mm-detachable-modification

DersioModding these is really easy. All you need is this: https://institution.co.nz/2016/11/19/detachable-cable-mod-for-massdrop-fostex-th-x00/
I have modded mine, with dampening inside the cups, but did not go for silver cables as TH-X00 for sure does not need anymore brightness. I use Sony Kimber Cables, which are copper and are relatively neutral. Plus they screw on the Lumberg jacks I used.
The most important aspect for me was to get rid of the vacuum cleaner style original cables though. Anyway, I love the result.
I use Dekoni sheepskin pads, which do not change the sound much, but do increase comfort hugely.
