FWIW after a couple of days of use I have to say they are pretty nice. These headphones pair best with a Centrance Dacmini with the 1 ohm mod IMHO (based off the gear that I have). Not as good as my HE-500 /Gustard X12/H10 combo, but nice little pair of cans for areas where open/orthos leak too much. I don't think these are $1000 headphones but they good for the price point. They are a significant upgrade to my Denon 2000's.
