Asthma5yes, I think they sound fine out of my iPhone, but the cable will prevent you from being able to use it easily on the go (unless you re-cable it of course). the cable is thicker than most, so it's more difficult to bunch it up.. and it has a 6.25" termination, so you'll need an adapter to use it on 3.5" mini-plug jack. massdrop included a monoprice adapter on the last drop; I read complaints of the the mini-plug not fitting tightly enough into headphone jacks; however, I never bothered using it since I prefer to use my sennheiser or grado adapters, where there's a bit of cable between the adapter ends (which prevents stress on the headphone jack of my amp from the weight of the adapter).
