Hopefully everyone receives their headphones in 100% condition, no cosmetic damage or other. I've lost all expectations with these and am satisfied with my current pair for enjoyment. Just hope its worth the investment of time and money. Thanks for the updates though.

JimKJVC HA SZ-2000 They're roughly 200 bucks. I have the mayflower electronics o2 amp/dac combo and I'm using my PC for an EQ to make these sound normal, They're really bassy, but not boomy or fatiguing. If I take the EQ away they sound like garbage. I also replaced the pads with brainwavz leather ones. Much more comfort and better sound signature. The whole reason for the upgrade to the x00's is that I'm seeking better mid/high clarity because all the bass with these drowns it out and starts sounding garbled. Still a basshead at heart so I want all the pounding but I'm willing to sacrifice a little for more clarity.

Voicedgotcha ~ I'm also using the Mayflower o2 amp/dac combo going through my PC but pairing with the V-Moda M100's ........... pretty good headphone but have had to change out the pads several times to find something comfortable. They start out as the absolute, most god awful, uncomfortable headphone on the planet (and they know it) so they push their XL pads for the $20 upgrade ~ problem is, they are simply extra thick, not extra large. What they should have is more diameter so they actually go over the ear. I ended up taking a hot glue gun to attach the Beyerdynamic EDT770V Ear Pads on my V-Moda's and what a difference. So all in all, the Mayflower amp/dac and the M100's are pretty great sounding ~ but I'm always on the search for the perfect headphone and when they guy at Z-Reviews did a review on the TH-X00's he was searching for a way to describe them and finally said .......... "these are just F-ing fun, that's what they are, fun" ......... that's when I knew I had to try them ~ anyways, you said you were pretty happy with what you had now, so was just curious. peace

JimKhaha, thats the reason im buying them as well, z reviews. thats the same fella that says the sz-2000's are garbage, i kind of wish he could hear how mine are setup and judge them since he has more experience, though every person's tastes are different.

Should I exchange the PC38X for better headphones?
I bought the PC38X headphones FOR GAMING and they are great, but I have NO use for a Microphone since I don't do competitive gaming and I was wondering if there were better headphone options at a similar price without a headphone, where (presumably) more of the cost was put into making it sound better. I also find that my PC38X don't get quite as loud as I would like and I was wondering if a cheap amp like the iFi Go link would draw a little more volume out of my phones. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BN6MM822?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details I went with the PC38X since it was considered the best bang for buck headphones. Looking for a gaming/content audio setup
Hello! I'm looking for recommendations on audio setups. I'd be planning on using it mostly for gaming. Preferably I'd like a pair of large closed back headphones since I have a big head and jaw. I'd also like to hear myself through my mic with mic monitoring. As far as budget goes, I don't really have one. But under 600$ would be nice. I can go higher if needed. The audio setup would be connected to a high performance PC. Thank you in advance for any recommendations!

$10 Drop Coupon Email not sent?
Trying to buy some gear off Drop for the first time. I was told I would receive an email with a welcome to drop $10 off promo. I never received that email. Drop was able to send me emails for my login token and email for Password update. But for some reason the $10 off coupon was never sent to me.

Hello, I just joined, primarily for the audiophile products. Looking at purchasing the NHT C3 speakers for our new living room. Space is about 15 feet wide by 33 long and they will fire long ways. Space is just for general listening, music room with all equipment is downstairs, so hoping they will fill it with sound nicely. Cheers.
