Anyone else receive their shoes yet? Mine's somewhere between my local post office and the airport.

Just picked them up. A little tight with my feet swelled but they said it'll open up to my size. Will try to break them in in the coming weeks.
There seems to be a hard spot under the ball of my foot. Don't recall this feeling when breaking in other Blake rapid shoes.

JtchinoyThey're still tight, but I can get around okay. Some significant creasing on the cap toe signifying these are indeed a half size too small. If I went for a 9 instead of an 8.5, these would've been perfect. :(

Mine arrived yesterday as well and that's nice. They were too small even with the suggestion based on my question below. I think 11 would have been perfect. Unfortunate.
GingermanSame they are too small for me as well should've gotten 9.5

Wow, my shoes arrived on 3/30 and they look awesome. They're instantly comfortable, fit as expected and not a stitch out of place. A full 2 week before the original expected ship date! That's really fantastic, great job guys.

I wear an 8EE in AE Park Avenues. I am trying to decide between 8.5 or 9 in this shoe. Any recommendations would be very much appreciated. Thanks!
Nolan.a.scottHey @Nolan.a.scott ! 9 will be perfect. Sorry to just to get back to you - based in New York so I was out and about by the time you wrote. Write me at info@shopfounders.com if you didn't make it in the drop, we'll sort something out.
Cheers!

Do you allow returns on your website? Should we size 1/2 up like it says on your website?
You're never going to slip out of our 7. If actually suggest it knowing that Loake. That should be perfect. Give it a few good wears to break in - regardless of size - and I'm certain that'll fit right. Cheers!!
Founders_FootwearSorry, I'd* actually suggest it.

How does this compare to Brannock sizing? My Brannock sizing is 9.5 EE.
doji33Hey @doji33 - it's true to size on Brannock, but we're a standard D width. We've had customers have plenty of success in stretching the shoe out with their local cobbler to an E/EE, but it's only fair, in full disclosure, that I mention the shoes are made in a D width. Cheers!

Sorry to add another fit question but I wear a 10.5d in Alden cap toe cordovan (Aberdeen). They fit great. What size is closest? Many thanks.
GingermanYou'll be good in a 10.5. Cheers!

I do not have any oxford dress shoes to compare sizes with. I do wear a perfect size 8 in a Thursday Boot Chukka but in casual shoes I wear a size 9. Any advise on a size selection?
ironback58I know Thursday Boot. I would suggest a 8.5 in our oxford.

Also interested, but concerned about sizing. Does anyone know how these fit relative to Allen Edmonds? Specifically, if I wear 8.5D in AE Park Avenues (sometimes think about squeezing into an AE 8, but I think it'd be a little too tight), would I want to get 8.5 in Founders or size up? Thanks!
yes I would suggest you go with 9.
