Are the brown and green ebonite actually another material, or just a pattern? I’ve seen the feeds of pens (including this one) described as ebonite, but I’m not 100% on what that really means.

The Indus is a piston filler, the Darjeeling is a cartridge/converter/eye dropper pen. The Guru is also a piston filler; a little small, but it's inexpensive and I've had much success and enjoyment with them.
