Delivered the day before yesterday.
When I opened the envelope, I was surprised. Pens smelled so bad. I don't know what kind of smell it is.
I don't want to touch them. Because, after touching them, my hand starts to smell.
I want to know how should I solve the problem.

CHICKENGODThe pens (like most pens from India) are made from a special kind of plastic called vegetal resin. (Many Noodler’s Pens are made of the same material). There are plenty of people out there who enjoy the new pen smell (similar to the offgassing of plastics that produces the new car smell). If you don’t like the smell you can scrub the pens in dish soap and let them soak in a dish soap solution overnight to speed in its removal. I don’t own this particular pen but I do own many from FPR and they are very good quality given the price you pay for the pen. If you’d like a higher quality pen that doesn’t require any maintenance on your part to start using you might want to check out Visconti which has some very nice pens starting at around $500.
