The mismatched pattern on the body may be a lighting illusion. I have a blue preon 1 and it is flawless. If it has the same emitter I can say that it is quite a bit warmer than my original titanium p1. I've owned quite a few 4/7 lights and every single one is flawless. Only reason for me holding off is waiting for titanium to drop!
