We've been in touch with the vendor regarding the group's order and they've let us know that they are still working to gather and pack the group's order for shipment to our warehouse in New Jersey. Wow, so many purchases and this is only my first post. Found a GREAT deal on the Fox 479 in N690Co with digital camo G10 scales at michiganknives.com for $102 plus shipping. The blade is not the clean presentation of the Kryptek models but at that price I don't care! I opted for the package deal with the 479TK trainer (also in digital camo G10) for $195. Their shipping was a bit stiff at $10.85 for USPS Priority bringing the total for the order to $205.85, but that's only $102.93 per knife! Seems like a steal to me.

$129.99 for one of the best self defense weapons is pretty solid. Especially a Karambit with features like a wave and flipper, not to mention N690c is no slacker. I have one of the 479 in black g10, and they are phenomenal knives. Highly recommended overall.

pyrobunnyWhen I first saw the karamit style knife I thought it was a little too aggressive looking for EDC. My friend who studies Wingchun would aways spin his about like a doofus trying to impress us. But after seeing how it can be use in self defense when protecting oneself in close quarters. I sing a different tune on it's practically. A folder with the wave opening feature makes it ideal for this use.

This is one of a few "ultimate defense" weapons.....very well made....and a folder for concealment. I love this blade. At 129.99....a fair deal.
