FWIW, I was all about to order, until I read that this particular model is aimed at folks with larger hands (see here: http://www.theultimateknife.com/599-fox-karambit-black-g10-fighting-knife-emerson-wave-size-m-xl/). Fox also makes the 599 model which is aimed at folks with hands up to 4-inches in width. The models in this drop on the other hand (no pun intended), are for folks with hands wider than four inches. Presumably, this distinction exists because of the shape of the grip, which seems to be the case after reading several reviews of the 478 and 479 models.
