Got one of these a while ago...very nice piece of kit, not for small hands:-) Rather on the bigger size for a pocket load, the leather pouch works very well. The other very nice part is that there’s no clippy thing messing up your grip, making this very usable. Came very sharp, and is easy to sharpen after use, very regular stropping helps quite a bit on this one it seems.
Wow, unless this is something Jesper designed a long time ago he needs to slow down. It seems like between Boker, Fox, BladeHQ, GiantMouse, CRKT, MKM, Viper and UrbanEDC there is a new Vox design every week. If this is new he is running out of ideas.
WyoinI think Jesper Voxnaes designs knives all day long (hey, it's his job!), and manufacturers license those designs and manufacture them, and sometimes make slight changes to the original designs, to accommodate constraints of manufacturing and mass production. That's why you can find many offerings from different manufacturers, with fairly similar - but slightly different - designs.
Jesper Voxnaes also has his own workshop and produces a very limited number of custom made knives- beautiful but very expensive knives.
Check Giant Mouse for more Jens Ansø and Jesper Voxnaes knives and collab work, manufactured under their supervision. I really want a Biblio!
I will admit... I did get sucked into what some may refer to as a ‘gapers block’, typically experienced in heavy car traffic. And, unlike some, I did not honk my horn as I ‘streamed’ past, but rather ‘scanned’ the innuendos... carefully... not to overlook information that may actually pertain to my original intent. Alas, with all that was exchanged between all you guys, I got NOTHING about the knife. And, yes, in spite of my occasional naïveté, I was certain electrolysis could not be performed on wood, at least not on cocobolo... I can’t believe I’m responding here...
