I was on what I think was the last Fox Knives Karambit drop and I gotta say I love this knife. It came in razor sharp and after almost a year of light semi-regular use it'll still shave the hair off my arm effortlessly. This knife uses the same N690Co steel so I'd think you can expect the same level of blade quality. The Emerson Wave on the back of the blade is a fantastic feature that makes the blade snap out lightning fast when you pull it backwards out of your pocket, and I love that the clip can be moved for either left or right pocket carry. The pinky/index finger ring is large enough to allow free movement, even if you have sausage fingers (like me), but not too big as to get in the way, or cause less control when flipping and spinning the knife. If you're buying this knife as an EDC or to learn some Karambit style blade work, I'd highly suggest getting the version with the G-10 grip for better control. The silver twill is gorgeous, but I would venture to guess that it makes the handle less grippy and would be better for display. My one complaint about this knife is that opening the blade manually with the flipper requires quite a bit of wrist snap in order to deploy. After loosening and oiling the pivot I was able to make it a bit easier, but I think the issue lies in the size and position of the flipper itself. I think if it were slightly longer with a more acute angle there would be much more leverage to deploy the blade with ease. But, since I typically deploy it via the Emerson Wave, this is a relatively small complaint.
Keep calm, and every day carry on!

planb10113I've had mine for a few years and my thoughts are pretty much exactly the same, aside from the issue with opening it manually. Great knives.
