After the success of the first couple of Fox Umbrella runs, we wanted to introduce this new model - an upgraded version of the company's automatic umbrella. This model uses the same premium polyester canopy that their higher range has, and has a higher level of finishing and handwork when compared to the regular automatic. The best part (to me), though, is the wonderful sound it makes as you open it - a small flick of the thumb results in a delightfully satisfying "thwuuuuump!" as the umbrella extends.

IanAndersonDoes this umbrella have the automatic collapse as well? Or do you have to manipulate the lock and bring the canopy down manually?

LateknyteTo close you just pull the ribs back down the shaft, like you would with a normal umbrella. I don't know of any umbrellas that automatically fold.
