I have filed a ticket with MD support in hopes that they can ship me a replacement. The fault lies in the packaging, of which there wasn't *any* material to support the bottom of the package.
I'm very disappointed.

XyverzMine also arrived cracked all the way through and chipped all over. Disheartening because it would have been as nice as I hoped it would be.... now it's actually garbage and I've contacted support.

WritingDropI'm sorry you're experiencing it as well. Unlike most of my other service requests, I've not heard back from a support staffer yet, and that concerns me. I am hoping they'll do the right thing. I really wanted to give this to my husband as a surprise since he's a *huge* FLW fan.

WritingDropI heard back today. They don't have any stock, so they're sending me an RMA shipping label for a full refund. I really wanted to keep the cards, but I'll take the refund and then order the box from somewhere else.

jondkinneyI bookmarked a couple of pages that all have them. I searched "150 flw decorative box" on Google and came up with several. The first one I ordered from shipped the damn thing in a bubble mailer and I was not surprised to find the box it the same kind of condition when I opened the package. They're giving me a refund.
I just ordered from franklloydwright.com and sent a follow-up email asking for them to please double-check the packaging, to which they replied that they will definitely investigate.

LizSo I've found out that Massdrop isn't the only company that ships collectible ceramic gift items with insufficient packaging. The second company I ordered this box from shipped it in a bubble envelope. The lid was fine, but the box was trashed. That company issued a full refund and told me to just toss the product in the trash. I kept the box just in case.
I then ordered it from franklloydwright.com and even emailed them to ensure sufficient packaging, to which they responded that they'd double-check. I finally received it today to find a fairly mutilated shipping box, with absolutely ZERO packaging material inside. Upon opening, I found that the lid was cracked in half, but the box was fine.
So the short of it is that it took me three orders to get a single un-cracked package.

XyverzGah! This is seriously heartbreaking, because it's such a beautiful box.
We gave the feedback to our vendor on this, but I'm not sure what action has been taken on their end. We'll definitely not be putting this drop up again until the packaging issue is fixed.

LizI'm actually VERY surprised that the Frank Lloyd Wright museum shop shipped it as poorly protected as they did, even AFTER I'd specifically asked them about it.

XyverzI saw that the Monona Terrace gift shop in Madison, WI has them. So I'll probably order it from them over the phone and have them hold it. My parents live an hour west of Madison and it's a gift for my Mom for Christmas. Shouldn't be too hard to swing by and pick it up in the next few months. Thanks for checking @Xyverz!
