Preferred the brown but will settle for the black! For what it's worth I compared it to the new Fx version on their official site and I prefer the textured look for these cases. I also don't even see the Nappa ones on their site -- are they discontinued?

I ended up buying direct as I liked the Look of the FxCel brown leather. Nappa leather is not as nice looking and that's probably why it is less expensive.

Do the loops extend the length of the case completely separating the pens or is the loop simply at the top?

I really wonder if a Visconti Homo Sapiens oversize could fit inside that case... I picture myself so well using a case like that with it!!!

Is this the NAPPA leather on offer. They now have a new FxCel leather which l'm not too fond of.

msresinheadYes, this is napa. The FxCel is a little higher end and more costly, but many do prefer the feel and look of the napa.

Has anybody used the case for Mont Blanc 146 Fountain Pens? Does it fit and does it scratch the pen? Thanks.

NekLBeen using the 2 and 3 finger cases for about a year, no scratches or damage to my pens. Great lil' cases.
If it matters I have the older version that uses the old leather treatment style they had.

If anyone can comment, I'd be curious to know the difference between this drop's nappa leather and the FxCel leather on F-C's website.

FatestormFxCel leather is vegetable and oil tanned. It has a very smooth surface. Napa has a textured surface and is chrome tanned. The interiors are identical with ribbed cotton slots that go all the way down.
