400 bucks for this plain, uninspiring watch. You have to be kidding. That is a lot of bird seed. Guys do you really think wearing this watch is going to help you get into her pants? I am a girl.. I ought to know. Besides, I have a clock that is free...More accurate than NIST...And really big...And I mean big. ...."I'll follow the sun."

BogarteI don't see anything plain or uninspiring about it, but I guess some of that is in the eye of the beholder. FC is an amazing watchmaker, created by Peter and Aletta Stas and named for their grandfathers, one of whom was a watch face maker. Peter and Aletta decided to see how affordably they could make a great precision, fine crafted Swiss watch. By lots of other makers this watch would be $4,000 - $6,000. It has an in house movement and an engraved face with their "coat of arms" insignia. The hands are interesting. I think most who buy watches like this don't do it for any external effect on anyone else but only for their own enjoyment. I'm a philosopher, writer and novelist, and today I sit in a dark gray T shirt, khaki shorts, and barefoot in my study at the beach, checking the time on my classic slim line FC dress watch with one of the most elegant faces they've ever made. And I love the one in the drop, too. But there you go.

BogarteYou do understand that the majority of people who buy watches like this care little about the opinions of women so close minded as yourself? In the same way men don't judge women by the earrings, necklaces, rings they wear but by their personality and how it ties together with their appearance I'm sure smarter women do the same with men.
