The price of this drop is solid. I jump from t10 to T3. If you hate to use battery grip and serious about video. You should think more about T3. But if landscape or still photo, this drop is great and you can invest more on lens.
PS: as reference I got my t3 at $1300. So there a 400 different can get you an okey lens.
