Picked up one of these bad boys a few months back and just used it as my sole camera in a 3 week trip through 6 countries. I took over 3,000 photos and the results were phenomenal. I also had an absolute blast shooting and the combination of it's silent operation, tiny footprint, and vintage styling makes it much less intrusive than a DSLR. IQ is still wonderful and you get Fuji's amazing colors and a versatile viewfinder. The only major drawback I found is that it lacks weathersealing. Oh, and battery life is mediocre so my recommendation is to buy at least an extra 2 to bring with you at all times. High quality 3rd party batteries can be found on Amazon for cheap.
At around this price I would also look at a discounted Sony A6000/A5100 + Zeiss glass if you needed interchangeable lenses to use with a compact body. The new Fujifilm X-T10 is also very enticing when you include glass into the equation. But if you know you want a fixed 35mm equivalent prime to use as a grab-and-go street photography/travel camera, then there's really nothing like it in the market. A beautiful, unique little device that I will bring with me whenever I travel, or whenever I simply want to walk around and take great pictures.
