DavestefIn all likelihood - I currently use an Elkit TU-8200DX on single ended mode (<3.0W per channel) and have used the APPJ Miniwatt (3.5W per channel and the same tube compliment as this amp) to drive Heresy IIIs at 99dB/2.83 V @ 1 meter. Given the Cornwalls greater sensitivity (101 dB/2.83V @ 1 m IIRC) it can be concluded that the Cornwalls may be acceptably driven by this amp to extremely loud volumes in a smallish room depending on room acoustics, speaker placement, and listener preference. The greater question is why - the APPJ Miniwatt and this amp - while they are fun amplifiers - are hardly audiophile quality and using an amp of this caliber on speakers such as the Cornwall may simply highlight the faults of low-quality tube amplification. I'd personally save my pennies for a higher quality amp. I view amps such as this as more of a visual conversation piece than a need-filling amplifier, and for users looking to spend $120 to amplifier sources would steer elsewhere.

BadchileGood point. Thanks! I thought maybe it would be a “sleeper” of an amp. But I guess you’re right, there’s not much point.
