I guess I'll chip in with my own, positive, experience to counter some of the negativity here.
I purchased my set on 11/1/2010. I've used them regularly for Skype and gaming since then, on average once or twice a week for a few hours each time. In those 4.5 years they've never broken in any way. I charge after every session, and the battery is still holding up fine.
Unlike some wireless headphones, these will operate while simultaneously charging. So just get a long enough USB cable to comfortably wear at your desk, and you can use these indefinitely without worrying about a dead battery ending your session.
Skype calls sound absolutely perfect. I have no idea what that "reverb-faulty-driver" guy is talking about. I have no reverb problem in Skype. Maybe that's a thing on some computers, but not mine.
The volume wheel is perfect. It is nice to have the mute button, and there's an LED on the end of the mic you can see that lights up in order to confirm that you are muted. You can also just fold the mic up out of the way and it automatically mutes (and unmutes when you unfold it back down).
I am about 4 feet from a Wi-Fi router and there's no problem with interference. The only thing I've had interfere is the microwave, and for that to happen I have to be standing right in front of it.
In Battlefield 4, I have pretty good situational awareness and can tell where shots are coming at me from, at least in the horizontal plane. Admittedly I cannot tell if sounds are coming from above or below (vertical plane), but I'm not sure if that's a limitation of the headphones or the game engine.
For anyone with a Mac, these also work in OS X without needing to install any software or drivers. Surround does not work, but stereo does, and the volume/mute features work too.
It is true that these are not good musical headphones. That is not what I use them for.
At the end of the day, if these stopped working right now, I'd run right out and buy another set.

Actionable_MangoJust a comment on using while charging them. They come with a fairly long USB cable already. Should be long enough unless your PC is very far away.
