I've made a few purchases now on massdrop and this one is by far is the the most frustrating. The lack of updates are disappointing and from the discussion below it seems like there is a lack of certainty in the quality of the product. Some how I have buyers remorse already and the product hasn't even shipped yet.

MikemasterI feel the same. I hope when they get to me the keycaps are not pixelated.

MikemasterBuyer's remorse usually exists only after you get the product and are not 100% satisfied.
We haven't received it yet so the only thing people can be are "skeptical" "anxious" "worried" etc.
This keycap set wasnt cheap at all so im guessing the quality should be pretty good for that price point.

BenMTaken from Wikipedia: " Buyer's remorse (or buyer's regret) is the sense of regret after having made a purchase." That is what I have.
Also, I'd like to point out that expensive != better.
Personally, I loved the look of these keycaps when I joined this drop - but I also didn't realize how pixelated the design looks on backlit switches. Will I still like them? Probably - but I still have serious regret, because I think of the other keycap sets I could've chosen to spend my money on instead that were around the same price, with better color/image quality and MUCH faster shipping time. I will like these, but I will not love them - and I certainly won't like them to the tune of $60 (drop) - $100 (elsewhere).
I'm not "skeptical" about my purchase, and I'm certainly not "worried": I legitimately regret making this purchase, even if I'm not holding onto the product yet.

curieI couldn't agree more. At this point I am just hoping that I have the set by May, and if it is not perfect and I don't love it, then I will post it on https://www.reddit.com/r/mechmarket/ and see if I can trade the set away for some artisans.

LaneyThat's the current plan. It's still a fantastic idea for a keyset, and I know that it might be end-game worthy for someone who wants that "softer" look. I'm just very... particular. :)
I'm at least going to give them a try, we'll see.

curieThis seems to be a really tiny company so who knows what kind of QC they are using, I only saw the keys on Reddit a couple months -ish before the drop started

curieUpdate: Got the keycaps.
They're not as pixelated as I feared they'd be - still blurry, but it comes off as pleasant instead of low quality for the most part.
Texture is excellent.
This set also appears to be thicker than the blue galaxy caps, so there's less shine through. I think they actually look quite nice overall, and they're better than I expected.
Except... the legends. The numrow 2 is higher than the others. Not by much on this side (the numrow legends get slightly lower toward the right, but it's gradual enough that I can pretend it's not), but enough to annoy if I'm paying attention/don't have the backlights on.

The Home legend is aligned left instead of center. Fine, it's a dark key, I barely notice it (or so I tell myself).

The O and the > are too far down... I guess I can live with that.

WTF. This is the bottom row. I can touch type with my numpad most of the time, but it's just freaking STARING AT ME.
search
Summary: Decent set. The numpad enter makes the numpad completely unusable for me, but it might not bother others. The main takeaway - GET BLANKS.
