Game of Thrones Catan: Brotherhood of the Watch

Based on the original Settlers of Catan, Game of Thrones Catan: Brotherhood of the Watch puts you in the role of a brother of the Night’s Watch. It’s up to you and your comrades to scour the land directly south of the wall—known as The Gift—for resources like lumber, brick, wool, grain, and ore. But be wary: directly to the north lies a barren landscape full of many dangers, and winter is coming. With the ruthless wildlings waiting for a moment of weakness to attack, you’ll need to gather resources and accumulate points as efficiently as possible to win.

The objective will be familiar to players of the original Catan: the first player to achieve 10 victory points wins the game and becomes the new Lord Commander of the Night's Watch. But it’s not as easy as it sounds. Tormund Giantsbane, leader of the wildlings, doesn’t respect the Watch's claim to the land or the laws of Westeros. Players must strategically balance their resources to defend the realm from Tormund and his wildling raiders. Each player may recruit up to seven brothers from the prisons of Westeros to don their specific color and man their section of the wall. If there are more guards than wildings during an attack, the wall stands. If not, the wildlings will succeed and pillage the settlements.
