I've owned this watch for over a year. It's a lightweight watch with solid GPS and lock-on time. I used to wear as an everyday watch as well and it looks fine from a distance but close up you'll notice that it's a smartwatch which is why I've switched to the Vivomove HR for everyday use and only break out the VivoActive for runs. The bands are interchangable and use standard 20mm lugs so you can stick any strap you want on it. Downsides include a very short battery life. My watch experiences ~20% battery drain per hour when the GPS is running. Otherwise, expect maybe three four days between charges. This is the non-music version so you won't be able to load songs or use Spotify on it. As always with sports tech, DC Rainmaker has written a massively in depth review on it here.

RashkhThanks a ton for this comment! I was debating about which watch to get a family member as a gift for Christmas (just not through Massdrop since I came up with this idea too late). I was about to hit buy on Amazon, decided to see if Massdrop had a listing, found a listing, read your comment and opted for the Vivomove HR instead! May even get myself one at some point. I'm not crazy about smartwatches, but if there is an option like that with mostly analog clock with smartwatch capabilities, I can get on board.

HarmfulMushroomI bought the Vivomove because it's one of the few smartwatches that works in an office setting. Just know that it doesn't have GPS so it doesn't work well for tracking runs and similar activities.

RashkhThank you for the information about the battery life. That's my primary concern with these wearables. Until they can get to a real-world use life of 7 days, I just don't have the time to keep up with all of these blasted rechargeable devices! All of my bike lights (4-5 in rotation), the bike computer, and my (now retired) Vivofit HR... It's almost like a part-time job to keep up with charging.
