I got these boots on massdrop about a year ago for daily wear. They have been one of the best purchases I have made on this site. There is literally no break-in period they feel like you've been wearing them for months the first time you put them on. The insole that came with the boot wore out after about 6 months and I replaced it with a Dr Scholls extra support insole and they are still going strong.
These boots are by no means waterproof. you can walk through a shallow puddle just fine, but any standing water that get half way up your foot will enter through small vent holes on the side. That said these boots are very well vented. My feet never overheat and they dry relatively quick during wear if water ever does get in. These are not boots for cold weather, through they may suffice depending on your sock choice and temperatures, rather they are made for mild to hot climates.
I wear a 13 W in all my others shoes and the 13 W I ordered in this boot fits very well.
