I bought this press from another web site because I liked the feature of the thin cutting blades that slice the garlic, instead of just smashing it through holes like others. However the blades are also a weakness. Notice that they are held in place with a small plastic frame and each blade is individual. Only a small part of the metal blade is imbedded in the plastic frame. Look at the picture where the blades are being removed. The blade frame cracked on my press and as a result it would not work because there is some force on the blades and they were pushed out of the plastic. The big problem is that only one cutting blade is included with the press and there is no way to order just the replacement blade. So I was left with a very sturdy handle that cannot cut garlic.

That is good to know , but I threw out my handle after a few years. But you need to make it obvious where you can order them. An insert in the package would be good.

The Rosle has been well reviewed, and I got it and was pretty pleased, but the Williams Sonoma model 43-8161556, currently about $45, is the best I've ever used. Unless I overload it, I never get garlic squeezing out the sides. Definitely worth the investment, IMO.
