Aiming to build a lightweight knife that didn’t skimp on ruggedness, Pete Gerber was the first knife creator to use all-synthetic materials in the handle. That was more than 25 years ago, and today, the original model—the Gerber LST—remains a favorite all-purpose knife for many. The drop-point, fine-edge blade is made from 400-series stainless steel, while the handle is glass-filled nylon with a textured finish for a steady grip. The larger, more robust LST has a 2.6-inch blade and weighs 1.2 ounces, while the Ultralight LST has a 2-inch blade and weighs just 0.6 ounces.

At checkout, you can opt for two Ultralight LST knives (- $4) or two LST knives (+ $5) instead.
