Hello Everyone,
I want to apologize for not answering the question sooner that is on so many of your minds. For those in the community who know me I am very diligent in getting information from our vendor partners and passing it onto the community as fast as I can.
First, since there has been some discussion about it I want to make sure everyone is clear that this is a drop for the Gigabyte Aorus GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11G version. NOT the extreme. It will have a 3 year warranty directly with Gigabyte.
Next, I just got word back from Gigabyte that everyone participating in this drop will in fact get a Destiny 2 code. This code will be emailed to you a week or so after the drop ends. You will need to download the Geforce Experience from NVIDIA here (http://www.geforce.com/geforce-experience) and then follow the instructions listed below.
Lastly, for those of you who did participate in the Extreme drop that preceded this one, I will personally make sure you also get the Destiny 2 gaming codes.

REDEMPTION INSTRUCTIONS
To redeem your promotional code for Destiny 2 please follow the steps below:

Install your qualified graphics card and update or install the latest version of GeForce Experience here.
Open and log into GeForce Experience (Version 3.2.2 or higher).
Go to the Account drop-down menu and click “REDEEM”.
Paste your coupon code from your qualifying bundle purchase and click “REDEEM”.
At this point your coupon code will be permanently associated to your NVIDIA account.
A window will pop up asking you to log into your Blizzard account.
Log in with your Blizzard account.
Confirm your account and click “REDEEM”.
Congratulations you’ve successfully redeemed your code for Destiny 2.
Destiny 2 will be added to your “GAMES” Tab in the Blizzard Desktop App prior to the PC Game Launch.

Tex-ArozziJust one clarification: when you say " that everyone participating in this drop will in fact get a Destiny 2 code" you actually mean that "every card sold in this drop will be accompanied with a Destiny 2 code", right? Because the way promotion is run is one code per card, not one code per person.

Tex-ArozziHi! I have a quick question concerning the recent Gigabyte 1080 Windforce drop that took place earlier this week (https://www.massdrop.com/buy/gigabyte-geforce-gtx-1080-windforce-oc-8gb). Will this drop also qualify for Destiny 2, seeing that this same model was eligible on Newegg and the drop ended before the expiration of the Destiny 2 promotion?

AnzialYep, the codes have yet to be released to NVIDIA to give to gigabyte. As soon as they have them, I will have them. Same day they will be sent to everyone who participated in the drop.

Tex-ArozziAny updates yet on code availability? We are only a week out from the game release and it would be good to know we have the code before the game comes out.

Tex-ArozziPlease don't make this a case of false advertising. Destiny 2 code is the major reason why I joined, if it's not coming, I would be seeking full refund for the purchase since it was made with your promise to provide the codes. Unfortunately, since Nvidia's Destiny 2 promotion ended almost a month ago (when the drop ended), I have grave doubts that you'll be able to hold your promise.

AnzialAnzial, I have given you very straight forward responses to all of your post within a very short time when you post them. NVIDIA is not releasing the codes to Gigabyte right now. My guess is they do not want people to have the codes/download before the actual release date of the game. That of course is my assumption as they are not telling me why. When we get the codes, you will have the codes. Thanks,

Tex-ArozziNobody's questioning your personal integrity but you were wrong about Nvidia's promotions before. Just FYI, the Nvidia's codes were not for the Destiny 2 download, they were for registering at Battlenet where the game will be made available whenever it's released. Meaning, it's not supposed to take this long to issue them, otherwise everyone else who benefited from the promotion would still be waiting for the codes - and the fact is, they are not! Only MD has failed to deliver the codes in accordance with promotion, which, I reiterate, has ended June 27! If Nvidia hasn't issued the codes then, there's very slim chance they will now.
Bottomline: you have to clarify the situation with Gigabyte ASAP, you can't just wait around for them to give you the codes.

I mean, with this whole SNAFU with turbos, people returning them left and right, aoruses not expected for another month, do you still insist that codes will be issued by nvidia on a promotion that's been over for a month?

Tex-Arozzi Hutch, did this drop's description get updated to include the destiny 2 info after it went live? i remember buying it, being asked by a friend if it came with destiny 2 and found nothing about it on the description, and then being surprised later that it was in fact included after reading this post... but there's no changelog in the description or specific timestamps in the discussion - would be helpful to keep track of things. thanks
