FourEmptyBeersFirst of all, don't compare prices from some random B&M store in the middle of nowhere with general pricing at the US internet markets. Small stores such as the one you mentioned probably have much more overhead costs than MD or most other online stores who don't spend money on warehousing which is one of big costs of maintaining B&M stores. Secondly, the price you quote includes VAT which this one does not, and you are likely be paying VAT in either case, i.e. even you buy it here, you'll still end up paying over $100 (maybe significantly more, dunno the rules in your country) to get this card from Massdrop in your country. Third, at least you get warranty from your local store while this card from Massdrop won't have it - it's a Gigabyte US product and support for it provided only within US.
Anzial@Anzial The part about "random B&M store in the middle of nowhere" was a little uncalled for, but no biggie, let's keep it civilized here and dis each others country :) . Ok , let's see what the price of the card will be if we include VAT. VAT in my country is 19% meaning that the card will be 749.99*19/100 = 892,48....it's still 206$ cheaper.
And i don't see anywhere being said that it's a US spec or a International Spec. And even if it is , wow , big wop.
FourEmptyBeersSo did you buy into this drop or you just like talking out of your ass? 😏 because it doesn't look like that a lot of people agree with your evaluation of the value of this drop. In the past, 1080ti drops ended within hours of start, this one will last until the end of the drop at this price. 🙄
