Still way toooooooooooooo expensive. I paid about $240 for my MSI GTX 1060 6GB Gaming X card about a year ago. Unless one absolutely needs one of these cards, and they don't want to buy used, I would wait until this digital cryptocurrency phase has passed - the reason the whole GTX 1000 line is super expensive right now. Just wait, if you can. So glad I got my MSI GTX 1080 Ti Gaming X for $750 last year when I did for my new computer build (I own both a 1060 and 1080 - two computers).

MustangNo one should ever buy a used GPU. Most likely it will have been used by miners and thus turned into a trash that is going to breakdown and stop working at any moment. And the second owner isn't going to be able to get warranty service on it either.

CalisYour opinion, again. Those who are willing to buy used always do so at their own risk unless the seller is willing to refund, should it arrive defective or DOA. Most buyer would want such an assurance before purchase, me thinks. Doesn't that go without saying?

CalisNever buy used onlone is advice for all Over 90% of all used hardware is just stuff with stoc images or photos that don’t give you enough information as well as shit sold as “Like New” or barely used or they have shitty descriptions and put in bad reasons for not wanting the stuff

MustangPaying with PayPal covers DOA. DOA means you know within the charge-back window.

Z_S_1996Well, I would definitely hesitate buying from someone with no reputation as a seller. Ebay sellers all have a reputation, either good or bad. I almost never buy used these days - don't need to - but when I did, I always bought from someone with a good seller reputation. The buyer has to always be aware when buying used items.

YesItStillWorksNot sure I understand your second sentence, but I didn't know that PayPal covered DOA items. Does that also mean "used" DOA items? PayPal might only cover "new" products, such as from Amazon or NewEgg and other online stores. Would be great if they covered "used" items from Ebay, too. Anyway, thanks for the info.

MustangDo you know what a PayPal "charge-back" is? It is basically a refund. You show that the other person said it worked, say it didn't when you received it and PayPal refunds your money. Sometimes you have to show that you returned the product, but simply stating it usually gets the refund. It is also a common scam to order things and request charge-backs.
