I do get my cards elsewhere actually. Typically at or near MSRP as well. There's a 2-3 week lead time, but the retailer lets you hold your spot in line. Just got 2 Zotac AMP 1080 8GB for $575 each. Simple use of Google and Reddit can find this place. You do not have to be a registered business or have a tax ID either. Just a credit card to hold your spot in line. $0 fee to hold your spot.
But you do you and keep being salty.
