Howdy Everyone,
I just wanted to pop in and address a few concerns. It is true that the prices on graphics cards being sold on Massdrop are more expensive than 6 months ago. That is because there is a shortage of graphics cards in the market right now for a couple on reasons. First the bitcoin mining situation that has been going on. Because of this it has created an unexpected demand in the graphic card market that has not been seen for a long time. Second there is also a shortage on the memory that is being used on graphics cards due to Apple.
I can tell you that we have negotiated the very best price possible on these cards we are offering and are extending the best possible price to the community. The increase in the prices on graphics cards is not a Massdrop decision. We did not just one day decide to start charging more for graphics cards. We are bringing you the absolute best deal we can and then some.
For the graphics cards Massdrop has listed over the last 90 days they are for prices unseen in the market at this time. Even NVIDIA has reached out to us directly about our pricing and following their MAP policies which was addressed in another drop. You will continue to see graphics cards being offered on Massdrop as they are a community favorite. We will always do our best to give everyone the best possible price we can!
Cheers!

Tex-ArozziIf only this was about graphics cards, but MD is raising prices on a lot of other things, as well. Are keyboards experiencing shortages? or they need expensive memory chips? lol

Anzialsome of the blades can be found for the same price or less in retail, a quick search of any product listed on MD will show that its not that worth it anymore. and i feel like its constantly the same products over and over again. "for the Community" you mean for the profits.

Tex-ArozziFirstly the shortage is not because of bitcoin mining but ethereum mining...secondly that mining craze is stopping now due to restrictions put up by venders on buying the GPUs , Third-miners don't buy 1080 or 1080ti ,price surge was not seen in any of the 1080 or 1080ti series Neither they were short ,so shy away from giving feeble explanations and just try to be more legit and provide better discounts otherwise you are going to lose a lot of customers ,I am looking for a 1080ti after buying 1080 from you ,but the prices you put up are obnoxious .. Don't do this to us or yourself ,don't mislead .I have faith in you don't break that..

ProgmaanuvratYou're wrong about almost everything you said. First it's alt-coin mining people use Nvidia cards for, not eth. Second, people do use 1080ti for mining. Thirdly, there are no "restrictions" on miners buying cards.

Dr.SmokeThey didn't use to because the income to investment ratio was not that much earlier but as soon as they start making money they tend to move towards bigger cards..If you might remember nvidia cards were and have always been used in crypto mining but being expensive amd cards were their favourite.after some updates nvidia GPUs have become super efficient in mining..And for your info..oflately Nvidia has asked vendors to limit the buying for 2 per person...And wait what ..Wat did you say alt coin..So you mean eth is not..?lol

ProgmaanuvratMore things you are wrong about: there are shortages on all Ram for all devices. Because all Ram in the world is made by about 3 manufacturers. Which means AMD Nvidia Apple and all other cell phone manufacturers are all competing for Ram. Lastly there are no restrictions on miners. If you can get the money you can just call up a distributor and buy $50,000 worth of graphics cards for wholesale price.

ProgmaanuvratNo people don't consider e t h an altcoin. Altcoins are things you mostly haven't heard of. Basically anything that isn't Bitcoin e t h Litecoin or any other big names.
