I highly, highly recommend not buying any Gigabyte laptops.
I went from having a five year old Sager to a broken Gigabyte laptop (P55W-B1) that I have sent in continually for repairs for the last three years. I have had numerous issues with them honoring the warranty. If there is a faulty video card, they will do everything in their power not to replace, even telling me "There's nothing wrong with this laptop," after holding onto it for a month.
When I sent it in, a single smoke grenade in CS:GO could cause the game to crash to a stuttering halt. The laptop also has insane heating issues owing to poor design. The keyboard feels like the hot surface of a phone after you've played a app game too long. My Sager, while older and broken in the expected ways an outdated laptop should be broken, doesn't heat up as much as that damned Gigabyte.
In fact, my Gigabyte laptop is back at the Gigabyte authorized repair center right now, I am using my now 8 year old Sager as a backup. Out of the total 2-year global warranty my Gigabyte laptop has had, it's been in the repair shop for 5 months time. Save yourself a headache, please. Buy the MSI deal instead.

Question: Does the SSD that comes with this use SATA or PCIe? The description seems to indicate... both, so it's tough to tell. Another question: Does this support NVIDIA G-Sync? I'm also assuming that this does not support Thunderbolt 3.

To all who are hating me I never would use a 1070 for gaming infact I am so in to the 4K experience I will get a cheap single 1060/70 and get the 180Ti or get the Titan XP but next year as if all goes to plan the old Titan X shortly after GTX 1080 launch was reduced by PC shops for GTX 1080 price roughly here in the uk but all I mean is that having an overkill GPU with a ahitty screen is pointless just use a cheaper GPU and save on cost and battery life as a cheaper GPU uses less power so you get better battery life in a cheaper laptop
