Thanks! They both look quite nice. I'm leaning toward the Cutco shears because I think you would get more grip with the textured plastic than polished steel.
The most common complaint about the Kanemoto shears seems to be the need to tighten them frequently. Do the Cutco shears even have a way to tighten them?
MountainPassTo my knowledge, there is no way to tighten the Cutcos. The scissor halves are solid stainless steel that just connect together. I've had them three years and haven't had an issue. I probably need to send them back for sharpening soon.
