FYI - this family owned business was bought by Invicta(see logo on dial), check out this post: http://forums.watchuseek.com/f18/glycine-pre-post-invicta-logo-4491817-2.html

WhiskeyParkI bought the Combat sub and the Airman DC4 on previous drops. Both have the old logo, both have drilled lugs, both have 20 ATM water resistance. Those are three significant differences to the curent Invicta offerings. The Combat Sub was $399.99 and the Airman was the same price, $599.99.

MaltmanGot My DC-4 on the last related drop. It doesn't have a logo, but neither should yours, the DC-4 never had a logo on the dial, just on the signed crown. Mine is still 20 ATM water resistant even though it was purchased month after the Invicta purchase. Only difference is it doesn't have drilled lugs, which is a bugger ok. But please, let's be careful about the info we spread on this. I am not in favor of this purchase by Invicta, thing the new 44 and 46 sizes on the Airman has something to do with it, but no need to exaggerate things either.

AleskbYou are right, now that I look again there is no logo on the DC4, just Glycine Airman. And, yes, good point about the Invicta bashing. The Glycine watches are still very high quality and apparently still independently made.

AleskbJust looked again and my DC4 does not have drilled lugs. That's two out of three wrong. I'm embarrassed.

MaltmanI purchased a Combat Sub, hoping to get an older model with the drilled lugs and old logo but ended up receiving the newer - post-Invicta purchase model w/o drilled lugs and with the Invicta-ized logo. Mildly bummed here but the watch keeps incredible time - +2/day - and is very comfortable on the wrist, so my complaints are minimal.
BTW - Maltman is the name of the street I live on.

NikoToscaniI agree, they are excellent timekeepers.
Great name for a street if you are into single malt Scotch whisky.
