The video does not match the pictures.....

EddjbishopIt's the same watch. It's just a different color option and maybe a different model year? I like the one in the video much more than the one in the pictures.
Id be all over this if it wasn't camo. I really hate camo (both pattern and color options) on everyday items.

VerwilderdGotcha. The camp is one of the appeals to me. The watch in the video says "Airfighter" on the bottom dial -the pictures do not show that...
thanks

EddjbishopYeah, there's that and the dial is a little different. That's what makes me wonder if this is a different model year or the same watch? Kind of like a car from year to year. Not really sure though.

VerwilderdInvicta bought Glycine in 2016 and that is why so many models have been on drops. This must be a new model that has been redone by invicta

Katz6616Are you meaning that because of the purchase they're trying to get rid of old stuff? I know I got an incredible deal here on an airman 22. That wasn't something that came about from the invicta purchase and was all glycine' design. I love the watch. It's one of my favorite watches to wear right now.

VerwilderdYes most of them have been odler stock that invicta is selling off. Invicta redisgned all models that Glycine has and they must be hitting the market now.

Katz6616I hate to tell you, but Invicta doesn't have any input on the design from what I understand. They are 2 separate companies in different countries. Glycine still has the same headquarters in Switzerland and it was said at the time of the acquisition they were to be run separately. The only thing Glycine gained from Invicta is their cash and their marketing channels. This is a good thing, and the only reason Glycine is around today.

hifi_houndSo Glycine finally is able to afford to design a low rent Breitling?
I have to say, I do like the movement on this watch, but the front is beyond ugly.

rdrdrWell, that's your opinion. I've owned one of these for over a year, and it does look better in person. The build quality of this particular watch is easily equal to a Breitling. I own over 75 watches (I know crazy right?), from Omega's to Oris and JR etc. This watch is built as well as all of them. The movement is beautifully decorated, and the Chrono mechanism is a unique Glycine design which adds to the value. That said, I agree it's not for everyone. If you have small wrists, it's not going to work. And, once again, the Airfighter was out long before Invicta had anything to do with Glycine. So, please direct your hate towards Glycine if you need to, not Invicta as they have nothing to do with this watch.

hifi_houndThat looks great on your wrist. Thanks for the pics. I'm new here and taken back by all the negativity. I seems this community likes to label anything over 42mm as hideous.

47mmWell, there are a lot of sheep out there that just parrot whatever they've read on the forums both here and elsewhere. Don't let anyone tell you what looks good or is too big or too small etc. If you like a watch, that's all that matters. I'm nearing my mid fifties, and I let go of all that B.S. years ago. Just buy what you like if it makes you happy and can afford it.

hifi_houndI do the same. I have some massive watches where many people complained about size (xeric Halograph is my biggest) and love it. Despite negative comments about it and the movement used, I still think it’s an incredibly unique watch that I get complimented on all the time.

hifi_houndAgree wholeheartedly... Love the watch I got! These things really are a matter of preference. Thanks for stepping up and calling it like it is.
