This is what happens once Invicta takes a classic brand and beats it with the ugly stick.

SF0059This seems to be a pre-invicta watch though. Two of the models shown have the earlier logo...

getjaevelMaybe this is the model that attracted Invicta's purchase. "Hey, that monstrosity looks right up our alley..."

SF0059Might be the case, but then you can't blame invicta for ruining the brand.

getjaevelI definitely can blame them. Check out this model of the Airfighter that came out in 2017. This has Invicta written all over it...

SF0059I'm not sure where you're going with this. To me, that just looks like a lb96b (pre invicta model), but in stainless and blue instead of black and red. The only real difference is the date window. I'm not sure changing a color scheme is considered "ruining a brand" and to be honest, the red and black version i worse.

SF0059I mean, the dial and hands are obviously different too. But the overall appearance isn't changed that much.

getjaevelI was just pointing out the skeletonized version referenced above was released in 2017 after the Invicta acquisition. I'm just referring to the skeletonized face.

boozed@boozed @getjaevel ... get a sense of humor. I really don't care if I was right or wrong in my statement, it was meant to be funny. If you are correct, it is even better that Glycine "Invicta'd" themselves. Invicta's reputation makes it funny by association... well, except for humorless Invicta/Glycine historians, apparently.
