First? Interesting watch. Is this the first re-issue and how many are going to be made?

Joe88At the bottom of the description it says it's a limited edition of 1,000 units. The picture of the case back shows limited edition numbering.

kpcorbinPhotos on the 'net shows limited edition numbering on the side of the case versus on the back here on Massdrop. And a limited edition of 600 on the 'net. This might be another round of re-issue.

PeekPokeIt looks like that previous edition had a different set of hands. I'm assuming the limited edition being sold by Massdrop will be numbered on the case back as shown. The number on the case back in the description is out of 1,000, which is the number that Massdrop says we'll be in this edition.
I'm not sure if the color of the dials are exact, either. Looks like this edition might be a bit more yellow. Hard to tell from the pictures, though.
Found a nice watchuseek posting about the earlier limited edition.

PeekPokeThe LE of 600 "Vintage 1953" was released six years ago in 2012 and they disappeared quickly. This is a second LE of 1000 with dauphine hands, LE numbering on the back, and a few other less obvious differences to differentiate it from the first LE.
