Can't wait for my bi-color purist! I found this watch some time ago as a part of my 24h dial fixation, but it was too much for my ridicilous budget, so I got a Poljot instead. Right after ordering that this drop shows up! Few days counting coins and finally pulled the trigger. Purist all the way, can't see the point with GMT, Glycine screams "purist"! At least for me :) if GMT versions main hands where allso 24h, then I would choose that just for red hand, but regular 12h feels like it's made for masses (yes, sorry, just my opinion). Oh, and I just love bi-color hour hand traditional tail. On purist that might even be handy.

MrKooI get where you're coming from but for me the GMT version has the added benefit of tracking the extra time zone. And being a modern version of the Airman it felt right to have the GMT hand. Now, if the retro version like the Airman No. 1 was offered I reckon I'd definitely go for the Purist version!

K-ManTrue, if I had use for third time zone, I would see this watch from other angle and get GMT. Just for GMT hand watch, I think that there is many good options from other brands too. For me 24h dial is the thing in this watch. Have to admit though, mystery GMT was an option to me. It looks very good with red GMT hand. I haven't even tested these on my wrist ever, so kind of a blind purchase, but just couldn't pass this drop. I'm pretty sure all versions brings joy to new owners. And yes, in retro versions purist is even more purist :D

MrKooI actually missed this as part of my fixation, it satisfied quite a few requirements... and a bargain. I did not have the budget, but made an exception for this one...
