I have just received mine (brown dial) and two things are very concerning: there is no crown above the "GLYCINE" print on the dial (your picture shows the crown); also, there is no "Sapphire Crystal" stamp on the caseback, which is a pretty strong indication that the crystal is mineral crystal. I do know that Glycine produces both for this combat model.

Will75I'm worried about this. In web page and massdrop, includes crown on dial!!! http://glycine-watch.ch/collection/combat/watches/item/view/show/nr/3890/

Will75Mine definitely is not sapphire. Several ways of checking. First it doesn't pass the sound test. A Sapphire crystal, when tapped lightly with your finger nail, will have a deep, dull "thud," whereas a mineral crystal will have much louder and higher pitched sound. I have a ton of watches and only buy watches with sapphire because I tend to bang them up and I promise you this "sound check" holds up. Also, there is a water test that I didn't do, but the premise is that the water molecules react differently to sapphire than mineral when you place a tiny droplet of water on the crystal. I did however do a ton of research once I suspected that the watch wasn't "as advertised" and it became very clear that Glycine always stamps "SAPPHIRE CRYSTAL" on the caseback if it does have a sapphire. Also, there seems to be a near 100% correlation between the absence of the logo (mine arrived without the Glycine Logo even though it was pictured on the mass drop page I purchased it from) and mineral crystal.

Will75I suspect the whole drop is mineral crystal. What color dial did you order? I ordered the Brown w/ leather strap. I hope for the other customers' sakes that only the brown one was mineral.

Will75I sent it back to their customer service address. I have a receipt of the shipment and I am tracking the package. If they don't refund my card, I'll refute the charge and show the evidence that they have the watch in their possession. I think massdrop will do the right thing and refund the purchase. I initially emailed them on Monday and waited for a response, but sent it back later in the week when I hadn't heard back from them. They don't have a telephone number that I could find. They certainly don't make it easy. I doubt I'll be buying anything from md in the future.

Will75there are two problems: 1) does not include the logo or crown on top of "Glycine", so the watch is different massdrop 2) non-sapphire crystal (could you confirm it with the seller?)

Will75I have mine for about a month now and just had a hair line scratch, which indicates that this is not sapphire glass as advertised, is there something we, as customers can do about this?
